The CRL Geneva Series of professional hinges is designed to accommodate glass thicknesses ranging from 5/16 to 1/2 inch (8 to 12 millimeters). Crafted from solid brass, these hinges feature all moving parts, including pins and springs, made of stainless steel for durability and reliability. Geneva Hinges are self-centering and feature a reversible 5-degree pivot pin. Additionally, custom pivot pins are available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. Each Geneva Hinge comes with a reversible pivot pin, with one side marked 90 degrees and the opposite side marked 85 degrees. Standard Geneva Hinges are activated with the 90-degree side, while Offset Models are pre-set to 85 degrees for a 5-degree tighter closure into the shower interior. The pivot pin can be rotated (not flipped upside down) to activate the other side. When using two hinges with glass thicknesses of 5/16 to 1/2 inch, the hinge can support up to 80 pounds (36 kilograms) with a maximum width of 28 inches (711 millimeters). With three hinges, it can support up to 120 pounds (54 kilograms) with a maximum width of 32 inches (813 millimeters).
